I broke my tradition of being a cat for halloween this year and went with something different. This is my take on the fashion killer herself, Cruella de Vil. I basically googled a picture of her and then picked items in my wardrobe that  gave off her vibe [: The only thing I paid for were the red gloves and cigarette holder that I forgot -__-

Long ass Week

I'm so glad this week is over let me tell you maaannnnnn... I think I've experienced every emotion possible this week and right now I feel relieved. I wasn't even going to post these photos because they didn't turn out how I wanted them but I was like eff it haha. I love wearing shorts & I hate people looking at my booty so to compromise with my complicated brain I like to wear kimonos they are the perfect cover up! I got this one last year from Forever 21 for under $20. Welp that's my tip for today if you like wearing short shorts but don't want to look like a complete hooch buy a kimono. [; Tomorrow's post will be longer and come with a video :p

Jeffree Star Cosmetics Lip Swatches

It's official I am addicted to Jeffree Star's velour liquid liptsicks. I’ve always have had a fascination with Jeffree Star, so when I found out he was coming out with his own cosmetics line I was stoked. By far these are my go to lipsticks that I use whenever I am out and about. The ‘sticks go on as a liquid and the finish is matte, which I love (I hate when my lips look extra greasy like I ate a piece of chicken or something.’) The only thing I was nervous about when purchasing is that I wasn’t 100% sure if the shades would coordinate well with my skin tone since time & time again other experiences with different brands didn’t work for me. I still decided to gamble  (lipsticks are $20 each)since I support Jeffree Star and his movement and I was gladly proven wrong with JS Cosmetics. ALL of the colors I purchased worked well with my skin without even using a lip liner, so I definitely recommend to everyone especially all my chocolate girls out there [: The thing I love most about these lip colors is that it is soooo pigmented, like one dip in the tube is enough to cover both of my lips. Also the lipsticks don’t transfer easily, so it’s okay to kiss your significant other maybe not a full blown make out sesh but a peck here and there. All Eyez on Me (Final H&M submission)

I'm not going to flex like I listen to Tupac all day everyday and recite all his lyrics, but I respect him as an artist & this H&M shirt is dope. :-P What I’m wearing is pretty much my go-to outfit when I go out to concerts, bars, outdoor events etc., basically when I’m going to places with a high possibility of my toedies getting stepped on! Closed toed platforms + tunics + distressed shorts you can NOT go wrong! Anyway, one thing that I've really been working on is posing "H2T" (head to toe). While taking photos old reruns of America's Next Top Model just run thru my brain and I just try to think (not to hard of course)  about all the tips Aunty Tyra Banks taught me. I'm really just trying to find my angles that looks good for my body type/face. Soon I will have all the dope editorial shots, watch! ! Today's H&M feature is my super peachy sheer blouse from their trend section (my personal fav). I kept it cute & caus with these suprising cheap ($15)  yet legit looking distressed shorts from Forever 21, topping it with my new gladiator strappy sandals from Public Desire. One thing I can def appreciate about these sandals is that they fit my huge calves (le struggle is real for me,okay)! Definitly check out public desire if you want trendy shoes for more than half the price. These are my first pair of shoes from them and I am overall pleased with the quality & price I paid. Welp, that pretty much sums up this look for my 3^rd submission for the H&M x Bloglovin comp J

Now, I’ve be contemplating with myself for a while on whether or not I was going to talk about my personal life in depth on my blog, but I finally feel like I’m at a point in my life where I don’t care anymore & I am not going to feel ashamed about anything. I spent majority of my life feeling super unsure about myself and feeling alone and like an outcast due to my untraditional upbringing and some tragic events that happened throughout my childhood that I carried thru my teenage years. I never actually talk  to anyone about the things that happened to me, I  just kept everything to myself. It eventually took a toll on my conscience after moving to Atlanta, which I became deeply depressed. Depression is real. I was literally living in my room isolated from the whole world for months just reminiscing about my past and even questioning my faith in God. I was just so confused as to why I couldn’t or didn't have a “normal” life.  Fortunately for me I was able to overcome that darkness that was overclouding my thoughts & taking over my life by finally talking & confiding in my best/boyfriend, who pushed me in the direction to start fashion blogging. Months later, I was able to get my confidence back from blogging not just confidence with my physical appearance (lost 20lbs woot!), but just how I felt about myself as a person. I actually started getting out the house more and meeting people, doing creative things, and basically having fun again. I finally see the light and pathway to become the woman that I always wanted to be, and I just want anyone that is suffering from depression to know it gets better you don’t have to live your life with a dark cloud over your head, your rainbow will come ! J

Black Out: HM x Bloglovin' (Sub #2)

I think it's safe to say this post was inspired by Jurassic World. Well the location anways, I was going for a prehistoric feel :-P. Quick review of the movie: the graphics were great, the story line was okay, if you love dinosaurs go see it & if not wait for the dvd/netflix release you didn't miss much.

Anywho, today's look I decided to pair this fun H&M daisy crop top with my black riding pants from American Apparel & my brand new matte black "Weirdo" lipstick from Jeffree Star (a must buy if you love matte lipstick that does NOT dry out your lips; video review coming soon).  I decieded to go with these white sneaks from H&M to top off my look to create some type of contrast instead of going complety all black which was my original plan. I'm planning on trying to release a couple of more photos +videos  for this contest. I really want to win  and I am getting my hopes up, but its alright & I feel like I'm  really pushing myself to put out the dopest content not only for this comp. but Today's Weather. STAY TUNED

Pick ME! H&M x Bloglovin'

Excited is not even the word to describe how I feel about the contest Bloglovin & H&M is doing! They are looking for The Next Breakout Fashion Blogger to give the opportunity to be mentored by one of three already established bloggers AND possibly win an award at NY fashion week. When I found out about this contest via email, I swear I felt like a ray of light coming down from the heavens as I heard a choir singing, “Ahhhhhhh” in my head. Then to add the icing on the cake, the three bloggers that are the mentors are extremely dope! You have Geri Hirsh (Because I’m Addicted), Arielle Noa Charnas (Something Navy), & freaking Vanessa Hone (The Haute Pursuit) ,that are the mentors! So YES, I am determined to win! This is exactly what Today’s Weather need to grow and become the most successful blog I feel in my soul. My blog is my art form for expressing myself & I know winning this mentor ship would take my blog to thee next level and beyond! I would be representing A LOT of girls/guys who usually aren’t, and I’m not only talking about skin tone, but I represent the people who have a good heart & aren’t afraid to go against the norm. People that aren’t afraid to let go and be silly but still can remain fierce. I represent all the UNDERDOGS that are determined to win in life no matter what.

Onto today’s looks, one of the rules for this contest is that you have to  be wearing at least one H&M piece in your post. The H&M piece that I'm rockin’ are my vibrant sea foam green pants that I purchased maybe a year or two ago.—Fun fact about these pants is that at the time of purchasing them they did not fit at all but yet I still bought them determined to wear them, eventually haha. It wasn’t until 30mins before shooting I tried them on with my fingers crossed and BOOM! They fit like a glove & I couldn’t have been more happy about my hard work with eating right and working out ! My whole mind set right now is I can do whatever I put my mind and work ethic to & wining this comp is next on my list. Stay tuned for more submissions I have until the end of this month before they pick a winner !

No video today folks.  Unfortunately I made the mistake of not recording some footage in this dope ass outfit. It was not until I was editing these photos while listening to A$AP Rocky's new album At.Long.Last.A$AP, that I was inspired to create a video. Sucks, but whatevs...I am really trying to open up more on my blog but some post I'm not even going to lie I just want to post pictures of my outfit with a video and thats it. I want you to be inspired and create your own magical story of my outfit and the location I shot at. Sometimes, like now I feel like  being a bit more expressive. I want you to know me so I decided I'm going to be posting a lot more videos of me in front of the camera talking like reviews, hauls, rambling about random stuff,  etc. I'm also going to start reaching out to my family & friends ever since I moved to Atlanta from Arizona I grown to miss them so much...

If curious about that new A$AP Rocky album I can't give a review right now I have to listen to an album at least 5 times before giving a real honest critique, but it defitnely worth a listen. Oh, yeah I heard the album on Tidal right now I'm doing the free $20 trail and I'm impressed I might keep my subscribiton
